The Red Stripe Band - appearing at the Montreux Jazz Festival July 2007

The Red Stripe Band....led by Red Stripe himself  on piano and vocals. Supported by some of the top session players on the circuit including an accomplished horn section to give that authentic big band sound.

Based in London but gigging all over the country, 2006 engagements have included several Jazz Festivals including Oslo, Edinburgh, Umbria , Marlborough, Cork, Bude, Portsmouth, Brighton and playing with guest artistes including John Martyn, Glen Tilbrook from Squeeze, and Rupert Black of the Pretenders as well as supporting Madonna, Chris Barber, The Pasadena Roof Orchestra and Eddi Reader.

The highlight of the year was the gig for an audience of 6,000 at a private party at Buckingham Palace.

Satisfied corporate clients include London Marathon, British Telecom, Barclays Bank where the guys have ripped up corporate events. By the end of the evening nobody can keep still - the whole place is jumpin' !
